Nicely done! Great for a stop to stretch your legs during a road trip.

If you’re following the trail, this is worth a stop, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to see it.

This is stop #25 in the National Park Service's auto tour guide for the Oregon Trail in Kansas.

The Scott Spring area spans both sides of highway 99 just south of the town of Westmoreland. The west side consists of a pullout and a historical marker explaining that the area was a popular campsite along the Oregon Trail. This was due to the spring water 180 yards north of the sign. Across from the spring, on the east side of the highway is Oregon Trail Park, featuring a life-size model of a covered wagon being pulled by oxen.
